Each year, we recognize and reward graduating senior student athletes at Belle Vernon Area High School with $2,500 Might Leopard Award scholarships.

The Donald Asmonga Foundation Leadership Award recognizes individuals who support the sports community as coaches, teachers, mentors, and positive role models.
Supporting Athletic Programs
We provide support to school and community-based sports programs to help ensure that opportunities to participate in athletics is available to all students.
Donald Asmonga Foundation Golf Classic
This annual event pays tribute to BVA Coach Don Asmonga, raises funds for student scholarships, and serves as a reunion and community-building activity for past and present BVA athletes and fans.

Meet Our Scholarship Winners
Since 2015, through your generosity and participation, the Donald Asmonga Foundation has awarded $72,000 in scholarships to 41 outstanding student athletes at Belle Vernon Area High School. In honor of the Foundation's 10-year anniversary, the Board of Directors increased the award amounts from $7,000 to $10,000 and from 4 to 6: 2 Mighty Leopards Awards (Male and Female) at $2,500 and 4 Finalist Awards (2 male/2 female) at $1,250 each.
